Open WebUI is an open-source, self-hosted chat interface that looks and feels like ChatGPT. You can connect it to Routeway to access all available models through a familiar UI.
Requires a valid Routeway API key. Get yours from the dashboard.

Setup

Open Settings

In Open WebUI, go to Settings and find the Add Connection option.

Add Routeway as a connection

Enter the following details:

Prefix IDLeave empty (optional)
Model IDsLeave empty to include all available models

Save and start chatting

Save the connection. You’ll now have access to all Routeway models through Open WebUI’s model selector.

Tips

  • Leave Model IDs empty to automatically fetch all available models from Routeway.
  • Browse the full model list at routeway.ai/models if you want to know what’s available.
  • Streaming works out of the box for real-time token output.
