ChubAI is a character hub with built-in chat support. You can connect it to Routeway by configuring the OpenAI proxy settings and selecting a model from the fetched list.
Requires a valid Routeway API key. Get yours from the dashboard.

Setup

Open a chat and go to Secrets

Open any chat on ChubAI, then click the Settings icon and navigate to Secrets.

Configure OpenAI credentials

Under OpenAI, fill in:
  • API Key: Your Routeway API key
  • Base URL: https://api.routeway.ai/v1
Close the Secrets panel after saving.

Set the API to OpenAI/Proxy

Open Settings again and go to Configuration → Prompt Structure. Make sure the API is set to OpenAI/Proxy.

Choose a model

Click the Model dropdown. It will take a moment (~2 seconds) to fetch all available models from Routeway. Once the list loads, select any model you want to use.

Start chatting

Close settings and begin your conversation. All requests will be routed through Routeway.

Troubleshooting

Make sure the Base URL is exactly https://api.routeway.ai/v1 and your API key is valid. Try closing and re-opening the model dropdown.
Verify that the API is set to OpenAI/Proxy in Configuration → Prompt Structure. If it’s set to something else, ChubAI won’t route requests to your configured endpoint.
Check that your Routeway account has balance (for paid models) or that you haven’t hit rate limits (for free models). See billing and rate limits for details.
